Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law or domestic relations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with Ohio domestic relations court procedures and e-filing systems.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
• Assist attorneys with divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and domestic relations cases.
• Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and court calendars to ensure timely filings.
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Prepare and file documents with Ohio domestic relations courts, both electronically and in person.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witness materials.
