Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is hiring a security professional to maintain guest safety and a positive experience at our venues. You will proactively engage guests, remove hazards, and enforce policies while supporting emergency evacuations and incident response.

The role requires current Guard/PSO certification, ability to work late hours, and experience in customer-facing environments, with preference for live music familiarity and bilingual capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current Guard Card or PSO Card.
• Certification course (8 or 16 hours).
• BSIS annual recertification (2 hours) if card >1 year old.
• Ability to work late hours and have a flexible schedule.
• 3 years of experience interacting with people positively.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs with proper technique.
• Tolerance of diverse cultures, music, and art forms.
• Bi-lingual preferred; cash handling experience a plus.
• Experience recognizing valid IDs; live music venue background helpful.
• Self-defense training; EMT or medical background useful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of staff, artists, vendors and guests.
• Create and maintain a positive, uplifting guest experience.
• Proactively interact to ensure guest safety and remove hazards.
• Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
• Lead guests and staff in emergency evacuations and provide assistance.
• Circulate the venue to maintain control and safety throughout the shift.
• Check IDs for anyone under 30 drinking alcohol inside the venue.
• Inspect for weapons or dangerous items using metal detectors or pat-downs.
• Enforce venue policies on photos/videos/recording devices.
• Safeguard against theft and property damage; communicate via radios/hand signals.
• Set up area before opening (stanchions, tables, etc.).
• Keep venue interior/exterior clean and obstacle-free during operations.
• Occasionally work Special Events scheduled at the venue.
