Job summary

Pitt State is seeking flexible crew members to assist with a variety of events, including concerts, lectures, receptions, and tours. You will learn multiple roles and support the team in setting up, running, and striking shows, while maintaining safe work practices in an industrial environment.

Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable and able to work evenings and weekends; prior experience in music, theater, or broadcasting is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Music, Theater and/or Broadcasting experience is a plus, but no previous experience is required.
• Motivated, self-starter who works well in groups and can take on tasks alone.
• Willing to learn, ask questions, be dependable, pay attention to detail, use time efficiently and demonstrate safe and professional work practices in an industrial work site.
• Availability for evenings and weekends is a must.
• Candidate must be able to lift 40 lbs and climb/work at heights of 30 ft+

Responsibilities

• Set, execute, strike and reset events.
• Learn various positions for performance event management (stage managing, sound/Light board operator, crowd control, broadcast assistant, technician).
