Qualifications

• Requires valid MA ESL license.
• Bachelor's degree in ESL or related field.
• Experience teaching English Language Learners as per MA DESE.
• Experience in ESL/ELL curriculum development recommended.

Responsibilities

• Educates linguistically diverse students.
• Delivers ESL instruction per state standards.
• Differentiates instruction to meet student needs.
• Keeps up with WIDA and Common Core standards.
• Evaluates progress in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Communicates with parents about student progress.
• Maintains classroom behavior standards.
• Participates in professional development for ELLs.
• Performs other duties per bargaining agreement.
