Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Certification or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education to teach in the State of Florida.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
• Knowledge of prescribed curriculum and child development; ability to plan and organize.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement hands-on programs with administrators and teams.
• Participate actively with faculty and staff.
• Plan, implement and evaluate school improvement programs.
• Manage classroom and supervise equipment.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth in teaching practices.
• Diagnose and analyze student progress to tailor instruction.
• Use varied instructional techniques to meet student needs.
• Incorporate technology and current research in instruction.
• Regularly evaluate student progress.
• Maintain effective classroom management to support learning.
• Engage with parents to promote student self-esteem and involvement.
• Maintain professional relationships with school and parents.
• Communicate with parents via conferences, calls, or notes.
• Encourage parental involvement in school activities.
• Keep grade books, attendance, and progress records up to date.
• Protect student and school property.
• Stay updated on technology and training relevant to the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
