Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer in Sacramento, CA. You will manage submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, WBS, and Material Kits across multiple projects, collaborating in a fast-paced team environment.

The role supports Project Managers and Project Executives, handles documents and project logs, and coordinates material and schedule processes on site.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in Construction Management or Electrical field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organization, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal customer needs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Project Engineer and Assistant Project Managers.
• Schedule and participate in project meetings.
• Prepare, maintain, and process RFIs, Submittals and close-out documents.
• Create and maintain Project Logs (Change Requests, Submittals, RFIs).
• Assist Project Managers and Project Executives in project duties.
• Process material, rental equipment and tool orders.
• Input and manage scheduling functions, WBS and SIS.
• Maintain Construction Documents in Plan Grid and distribute.
• Collaborate with CI for material kit deliveries and backorders.
