Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking staff for in-person roles at our Redwood City, CA centers. The position involves assisting with hands-on activities, communicating daily milestones to parents, and maintaining a safe, clean classroom per Bright Horizons policies.

Applicants should be at least 18 with a HS diploma or GED, and prefer candidates with ECE units; transcripts are required at hire. Prior childcare experience and CDA/degree in early education are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• ECE units completed preferred: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses.
• Infant or Toddler position requires Infant/Toddler class as one curriculum course.
• Transcripts will be required at time of hire.
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations
