Qualifications

• Must clear full background check and fingerprint screening.
• Infant/child CPR and Pediatric First Aid certifications.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• High energy and ability to work well with others (staff, children, parents).
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet minimum educational requirements as needed.
• Associate’s Degree in early childhood education or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a range of activities and lessons for children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Model leadership and coach the teaching team to achieve success.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that actively engage children.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through various channels.
• Ensure the center’s policies and state regulations are upheld.
• Establish a healthy and safe classroom environment with proper hygiene and safety standards.
• Supervise teacher assistants and ensure adherence to activities and safety.
• Accurately maintain records, forms, and files.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain high quality and expertise.
