Washoe County School District is seeking a Special Education Early Childhood Teacher (full-time) for Echo Loder Elementary School. The role involves implementing CCSS-aligned curricula, IEPs, and differentiated instruction for young students with disabilities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and Nevada teaching license, with duties spanning planning, instruction, and professional collaboration within WCSD policies.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with student teaching experience and ability to obtain a Nevada teaching license.
• Knowledge of child development; behavior and characteristics of students; subject area and/or credential area of teaching.
• Skill at creating an effective learning environment and maintaining professional relationships with staff and families.

Responsabilidades

• Administer curriculum aligned with CCSS and IEP instructions as needed.
• Design and implement differentiated lessons and assessments aligned with CCSS.
• Provide instruction, modifications, and IEP implementation in an organized manner.
• Maintain accurate records and IEPs within timelines and follow protocols.
• Collaborate with other staff and participate in professional duties as assigned.
• Foster a respectful, safe, and engaging classroom climate.
