Job summary

Bach to Rock: America's Music School is seeking a part-time Drum Teacher to join our team and provide lessons to students of all ages. You will use the B2R curriculum to teach theory and technique, fostering performance, recording, and even original music creation in our studios.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule, with business aspects handled by us so you can focus on teaching. You will develop engaging lessons, support school events, and help students grow as musicians.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate understanding of music concepts and communicate them effectively to students.
• Advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to drums.
• Experience working with youth or beginner musicians.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private drum lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum.
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere.
• Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble.
• Assist at school events and maintain equipment as needed.
