Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate operators, drivers, and rigging crews to job sites, schedule crews using dispatch software, and secure routing plans for overweight loads.

You will serve as main contact for customers, review timecards, support office and sales teams, and participate in daily planning sessions; strong Excel/Word, multitasking and problem solving are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Excel, Word and data-entry systems.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external customers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and attention to detail.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch operators, drivers, and rigging crews to job sites on a daily basis.
• Schedule crews and equipment using dispatch software to ensure efficient job execution.
• Secure routing plans and permits for oversized and overweight loads.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers – answer inbound calls, help size equipment needs, and assist with scheduling crane services.
• Collect and review employee timecards daily and submit weekly reports to branch manager and payroll team.
• Support the office manager, sales team, and other staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Participate in team meetings, including daily planning (whiteboard) sessions and occasional management discussions.
