Job summary

Propel Schools currently seeks day-to-day Substitute Teachers across our 13 buildings to join our amazing team. The substitute will cover day-to-day absences in the assigned building, helping you learn Propel Schools’ culture and diverse class settings. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree.

Daily Rate: $175/day. Propel Schools offers paid orientation, ongoing professional development, flexible scheduling, advancement opportunities, and a pathway to becoming a future full-time classroom

Responsibilities

• Instructs scholars and groups in specified content areas.
• Monitors students’ progress in and outside of the classroom.
• Maintains the physical environment of the classroom.
• Carries out lesson plans left by the classroom teacher or pre-planned lessons.
• Provides support to scholar learning when not assigned to a specific classroom.
