Lake Dallas Independent School District seeks a Career and Technical Education Teacher to provide students with engaging learning experiences in the core CTE subjects and to foster growth.

You will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, collaborate with teachers and staff, manage classroom behavior, and supervise student field experiences in the career area assigned. This exempt position reports to the principal and requires Texas CTE certification and applicable licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus Texas CTE certification or related training for the subject area.
• Demonstrated competency in the CTE subject area assigned.
• Valid license, endorsements, and training for the assigned subject and level.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum and accommodations.
• Plan and use instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student achievement and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with staff to modify curricula for IEP students.
• Manage classroom environment and behavior according to district policy.
• Oversee student field experiences in the assigned career area.
