Job summary

SEARHC in Sitka, AK seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide evidence-based crisis intervention in the Mount Edgecumbe Hospital emergency department and other departments. You will evaluate individuals in crisis, determine the appropriate level of care, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective treatment under Alaska Title 47 provisions.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field and be licensed

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as LCSW, LPC or LMFT preferred; licensure must be maintained if obtained.
• Clinical supervision provided if not yet licensed to ensure service delivery.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license or able to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based crisis intervention in Sitka at Mount Edgecumbe Hospital.
• Assess crisis-impacted individuals and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning and referrals.
• Ensure documentation is complete, timely and compliant with regulations.
