Responsibilities

• Provides security for judges, court staff, and the public.
• Maintains order and decorum within the courtroom and observes movement of the public.
• Performs security screening and removes firearms, weapons, or contraband as necessary.
• Provides information regarding court procedures to the public, witnesses, litigants, and attorneys.
• Patrols court building and grounds and conducts perimeter checks.
