• Five to ten years of local government experience managing multiple programs or departments, personnel, and budgets.
• Thorough knowledge of county government operations and applicable laws.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, fiscal management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead county government under the Council-Manager form of government, reporting to the Board of Commissioners.
• Oversee executive oversight of county departments, programs, and operations including a water utility system.
• Translate Board goals into policies, programs, and services that reflect transparency and accountability.
