Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee technical and engineering aspects of projects. You will lead daily coordination among clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and staff, ensuring accuracy, resources, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, maintaining schedules, managing submittals, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years in a project/engineer role in construction.
• Demonstrated ability reading drawings and specs.
• Scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers on scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals in line with plans and specs.
• Support project scheduling and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead development of project plans and cost estimates.
• Coordinate deliveries to align with project schedule.
• Review change proposals and negotiate with trade partners.
• Oversee document management and turnover to owner.
• Engage and train team and trade partners.
