Job summary

Kokosing Construction is hiring Skilled Laborers in Staunton, VA to support multiple construction projects. You will move between tasks as demanded, trim, level, and assist with concrete, forms, and pipe work under supervision as required.

Minimum one year of related experience is preferred; candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds, read simple instructions, and use common hand tools. The role is full-time on-site with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related construction experience or training.
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow directions.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work on various construction projects with or without close supervision.
• Assist with measuring distances from grade stakes, setting stakes, and laying out lines.
• Perform site housekeeping and assist with form work and concrete prep.
• Flag traffic and assist with safety duties on site.
• Operate basic hand tools and support masonry, carpentry, and civil tasks as needed.
