Job summary

BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE is seeking a dynamic Computer Technology Faculty member for a full-time, nine-month non-tenure track position in Lake Jackson, TX. The role involves preparing curriculum, developing and teaching computer technology classes, and supporting student success initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field with 18 graduate credit hours.
• Demonstrated ability in working with a diverse population.
• Teaching experience in Computer Science or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepares curriculum and develops new courses.
• Teaches computer technology classes using various delivery methods.
• Assists in student advisement.

Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficiency in reading, writing, and explaining code

Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related area

Doctoral Degree in a related area
