Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Continuing Education Computer Skills Trainer to teach computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office applications to students, helping them develop career-ready skills and understand industry requirements.

Qualified candidates will have a HS Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of related experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Evening or weekend availability and travel across the college district may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of related work experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Willing to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Travel throughout the college district as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional sessions on computer fundamentals.
• Teach Microsoft Office applications at beginner to intermediate levels.
• Implement curriculum to ensure student success and track attendance.
• Maintain student and class records and submit course documentation.
