Job summary

Southwest Search seeks an Associate Attorney in Dallas to join an International Law Firms Business Litigation practice. You will handle general commercial, civil and business litigation for a national and international client base.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of litigation experience, active Texas bar membership, and strong writing and analytical skills. Depositions and oral argument experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas bar membership is required.
• 3–6 years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice.
• Deposition, hearing and oral argument experience is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong organization skills.
• Writing and analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation.
• Handle complex commercial litigation such as consumer or shareholder actions.
• Contribute to discovery, including e-discovery.
• Support litigation strategy for national and international clients.
• Maintain high standards of organization and documentation.
