Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an accredited school, Missouri bar, and bring strong writing, research, and case-management skills to a challenging docket of commercial matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri (required).
• Illinois licensure strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience handling business disputes, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters through all stages of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Participate in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues on complex litigation matters.
