Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Jacksonville or Tallahassee, FL. You will service commercial accounts, review renewals, process policy documents, and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers and colleagues to deliver superior service.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of insurance service experience, a high school diploma (or higher), and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service experience in the insurance industry.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or higher.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Process daily mail and faxes for assigned accounts.
• Answer telephone requests for assigned accounts.
• Enter data into the system to maintain current files.
• Review applications, renewals and endorsements for underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare and process binders, certificates and audits.
• Validate coverages and ratings, and manage closings.
• Maintain expiration records and client relationships.
• Develop strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages and rating.
• Collaborate with underwriters and marketing representatives.
• Provide back-up to other Account Managers as needed.
