Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the subject to be taught or a Master's degree and 18 graduate course hours in the subject to be taught.

Responsibilities

• Prepare adequately for all teaching responsibilities.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods and instructional technology to facilitate learning outcomes.
• Serve as faculty advisor for students and participate in advisement programs.
• Attend all scheduled faculty and division/departmental meetings.
• Participate in curriculum development and selection of textbooks and materials.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance and submit information promptly.
• Maintain standards of student conduct and classroom decorum; act according to policies.
• Participate in professional organizations and college activities.
• Establish and keep office hours per college policy.
• Assist with pre-registration during summer months.
• Serve on committees as assigned.
• Follow college policies to enhance instruction and student well-being.
