Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical practice in Illinois. Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) cert from AAMA
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certs (AMT/ARMA/AAH/NCCT)
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect chief complaint and medical history.
• Obtain and document vital signs for ages 18–150.
• Perform medication reconciliation and document in EMR.
• Handle administrative duties: check-in/out, scheduling, benefits verification, prior authorizations, referrals.
• Communicate with pharmacies and healthcare facilities per policy.
• Maintain EMR documentation of patient care activities and interventions.
