Job summary

Willowpoint is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our Lake Martin country club team. This multi-area role may involve serving in restaurants, bars, member events, banquets, and special functions as business needs require.

Responsibilities include preparing beverages, recommending menu items, maintaining a clean bar, and ensuring accurate billing. The position requires friendly, professional service with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in a club, resort, or fine dining environment preferred but not required.
• Willing to server train and work serving shifts when scheduled.
• Friendly, professional and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming experience for members and guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, wine selections, and daily specials to make recommendations.
• Keep bar area clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Maintain accurate billing and transaction records while following service standards.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver exceptional service.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist with banquet and event bartending assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
