Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program; or Applicable Military Medical Training; or Students who are actively enrolled in a BSN program, have completed nursing fundamentals and can provide proof of enrollment at the beginning of every semester.

Responsibilities

• Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department.
• Certified Medical Assistant Floats will rotate in all assigned outpatient clinics or other designated patient care areas.
