Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers and process purchases efficiently. You will handle cash, credit/debit, and provide product location guidance while delivering prompt, courteous service.

Responsibilities include stocking, facing, and ensuring checkout areas stay neat. You’ll work with a team and have opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.
• Accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change, and assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Follow all front end procedures, assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, guide customers to product locations, and communicate with management and Head Cashier.
• Keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform related duties as assigned.
