Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is seeking a Busser to support dining room operations and guest service. The role emphasizes maintaining clean tables, assisting with setup and breakdown, and delivering water and beverages to guests.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a high-traffic setting, and a commitment to safety and sanitation standards including Covid 19, Eco Sure, HD, and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in high-traffic guest-service establishments preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff is essential.
• Must be able to multitask and maintain composure in busy environments.
• Empathy toward guests and strong customer-focus are important.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dining room and tables are clean and set.
• Sweep floors hourly to maintain cleanliness.
• Smile and engage with guests, make eye contact where appropriate.
• Assist with highchairs, extra chairs, and place settings as needed.
• Offer and pour water for guests and greet guests at the table.
• Place and replace silverware; deliver beverages from the bartender.
• Stock wait staff stations with essential supplies.
• Clear dishes and reset tables within six minutes after guests leave.
• Assist with running food to tables and clearing spills as needed.
• Vacuum, sweep, or mop dining area; clean windows each shift.
• Remove trash and recycling and replace bags; handle guest to-go orders.
