Job summary

gpac represents a respected Savannah law firm seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to manage a range of disputes from strategy through appeal. The role offers meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and opportunities to develop trial skills within a collaborative litigation team.

Candidates must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and capable of representing clients in state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of litigation experience required.
• Georgia Bar admission is required.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage business and commercial disputes through all stages of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other filings.
• Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare for trial.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case development.
• Prepare for and participate in trials and appellate matters.
• Appear before Georgia Superior and State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts.
• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy and developments.
• Manage assigned matters and deliver high-quality work product.
