Job summary

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, and flexibility for shifting schedules including weekends and special coverage. Field duties may be involved as needed to report on weather events.

Qualifications

• Experience forecasting and presenting weathercasts for TV - minimum 2+ years.
• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology is required.
• Knowledge of synoptic meteorology, tropical weather and radar.
• Ability to anticipate situations, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for breaking news and weather coverage.
• Must be open to travel for story coverage.
