Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead safe, engaging fitness classes that motivate members across ages and fitness levels. Under the Healthy Living Director, you will deliver dynamic workouts within YMCA safety standards and foster an inclusive, supportive community.

Position targets Tuesdays/Thursdays at 10 AM with training provided for Les Mills BodyPump to support program delivery and member engagement.

Qualifications

• An enthusiastic and engaging personality is essential.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging fitness classes aligned with YMCA standards.
• Demonstrate safe movement and provide cues or modifications.
• Motivate participants using music and group engagement strategies.
• Maintain current certifications and participate in trainings.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate schedules and gather feedback.
