Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine in Coatesville, PA is seeking a Part Time Group Exercise Instructor to lead safe, engaging classes and support members in achieving fitness goals.

You will conduct classes, track attendance, greet participants by name, utilize Upace Group Ex technology, collaborate with staff, and promote a healthy lifestyle while upholding YMCA policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of participation in group exercise class(es) required.
• Obtain and maintain all new-hire certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group exercise classes in a safe, enthusiastic and professional manner.
• Greet participants by name and take class attendance.
• Utilize Upace Group Ex technology for tracking and communication.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle and model YMCA values.
• Ensure classes start and end on time and provide modifications as needed.
