Job summary

Mission Bit is seeking a creative event photographer to capture school events around the Bay Area, primarily in San Francisco. You will photograph highlights, guest interactions, speakers, and student moments, then edit and upload the images to Mission Bit’s Google Photos folder.

You’ll have control of your availability and may handle 8–10 events per year. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to branding of social media and student showcases.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an event photographer.
• Some knowledge of photo editing software.
• Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability.
• Reliable transportation for events around the Bay Area.
• Able to stand for 1-5 hours.
• Maintain availability calendar up to 6 months out.

Responsibilities

• Photograph event highlights, guest interactions, speakers, and candid moments.
• Edit and deliver photos promptly to meet deadlines.
• Follow event shot lists and coordinate with the team.
• Upload edited images to Mission Bit's Google Photos folder.
