Job summary

No Other Pub Kansas City is seeking a bartender to fuel its fast-paced bar and social lounge in the Power & Light District. You’ll craft cocktails and pours, engage guests, and contribute to a lively game-night atmosphere with a strong knowledge of drink menus and service standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending at high-volume bars or nightclubs.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, and garnishments.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Alcohol awareness certification or food service permit required.
• Reading and writing abilities for orders and paperwork.
• May require night, weekend or holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide energetic, outgoing service with professionalism.
• Perform duties to follow steps of service.
• Offer polite and courteous customer service.
• Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails per recipes.
• Serve wine, beer, and bottled/draft beverages.
• Take beverage orders from staff or guests.
• Record orders and secure payments accurately.
• Ensure proper identification for age verification.
• Promote current promotions to guests.
• Complete side work as assigned.
