Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of music teaching or band director experience at the high school level.
• Candidate must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct instrumental performers and manage the overall music program.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Plan and oversee band participation in extracurricular events.

Skills

Knowledge of basic teachings of the Catholic Church

Ability to manage budget and personnel

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret data and implement policies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or related subject

Valid Texas teaching Certificate or 12 Credits in Education
