Job summary

Esc20 is seeking a dedicated educator to direct and manage the campus instrumental music and band program. The role emphasizes creating engaging activities that foster students’ intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth while encouraging participation in extracurricular band.

The candidate should hold a Texas teaching certificate, possess instrumental music competency, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills to guide curriculum, budgeting, and personnel management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in music education or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate is required.
• Current CPR and AED certification must be maintained while in the position.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the instrumental music and band program at the campus.
• Provide students with learning activities designed to support intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
• Coordinate curriculum and instruction for band and related ensembles.
• Administer budget, personnel, and compliance with state/UIL policies.
