Assignments are scheduled on an ongoing basis; employment may be restricted by enrollment and/or operational decisions. Temporary faculty must maintain updated credentials as required by accrediting agencies.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Anthropology or 18 graduate credits in Anthropology/Archaeology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology is required.
• Or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours from Anthropology or Archaeology.

Responsibilities

• Select and develop instructional materials; plan and organize instruction to enhance student learning.
• Use a variety of engagement and assessment methods to facilitate mastery of outcomes.
• Provide constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback to students.
• Evaluate student learning and modify instructional methods to meet diverse needs.
• Meet classes as scheduled and notify the division chair if absent with advance notice.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and other required information.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with college policies.
