Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Political Science required.
• OR Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours across qualifying fields (International Relations, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy).
• Preferred: experience teaching in a community college; curriculum development experience; advanced degrees/certifications in teaching discipline.

Responsibilities

• Instruct assigned courses and prepare materials.
• Meet classes as scheduled and communicate with division chairs regarding absences.
• Provide timely feedback, monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with college policies.
• Support assessment activities and participate in required trainings and accreditation procedures.
