Job summary

Aiken Technical College is recruiting Basic Anatomy and Physiology Adjunct Instructors. You will engage students through hands-on and theoretical instruction, manage the classroom, and undertake administrative tasks such as reports, syllabi, and lesson plans.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an Associate’s degree with demonstrated teaching competencies, and will prepare syllabi while ensuring course delivery aligns with established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an Associate’s degree with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Ability to prepare and maintain current course syllabi and ensure courses align with established syllabi.
• Strong classroom management and instructional material recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.
