Job summary

APAC Central Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to lead our quarry production teams and champion safety, efficiency, and quality across multiple plants.

The role includes supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating third-party blasting, and driving continuous improvements to meet production targets. Candidates should have at least 5 years in stone production, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules and timekeeping while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stone production and quality control.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and basic math.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop quarry operations teams through supervision and scheduling.
• Oversee daily start-up, production, and shutdown of all plants.
• Direct maintenance activities and plan shutdowns for equipment reliability.
• Plan and coordinate production resources to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Coordinate drilling and blasting activities with third-party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, work rules, and regulations.
• Manage employee schedules and timekeeping.
• Communicate operational status with Area Manager and Operations Manager.
• Troubleshoot issues and address production bottlenecks.
• Perform other duties to support quarry operations.
