Qualifications

• High school diploma and state-required certification as an Activity Director.
• Demonstrates strong creativity and communication skills.
• Shows excellent organizational ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing resident care plans.
• Ability to develop, organize, and execute programs within a budget to meet social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs.

Responsibilities

• Document Activity Programs: maintain detailed records of activities and participant engagement.
• Conduct Resident Assessments: perform activity histories and assessments per standards.
• Coordinate Communication: publish monthly calendars and newsletters for residents and families.
• Build Volunteer Engagement: develop and maintain an active volunteer program.
