Creative Solutions in Healthcare in Texas is seeking a dedicated Activity Director to join our team. This role focuses on creating meaningful engagement for residents, documenting programs, conducting assessments, and coordinating communications.

You will build a volunteer program, develop and implement activity plans within budget, and ensure care plans meet social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and Activity Director certification required by state regulations.
• Demonstrates excellent creativity and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing effective resident care plans.
• Ability to develop, organize, and execute activity programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Document Activity Programs: maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward care plan goals.
• Conduct Resident Assessments: perform resident activity histories and assessments per state and federal standards.
• Coordinate Communication: publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and facility newsletters to keep residents and families informed.
• Build Volunteer Engagement: develop and maintain a volunteer program to support activities.
