Job summary

CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking a Part Time Activities Assistant at Fayetteville Healthcare Center to engage residents with personalized activities and social programs. The role emphasizes compassionate, hands-on interaction and coordination of recreational activities on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with residents to provide individualized activity care.
• Foster socialization and community involvement for residents.
• Support the activities department and interdisciplinary team for assigned units.
