Job summary

Suburban Cook County Online Application Consortium seeks a Middle School Math Teacher to deliver 6th grade math instruction and build strong relationships with students and families.

The teacher will translate standards into engaging, differentiated lessons, manage a busy 84-minute block, and use Desmos and Dreambox data to guide instruction. Collaboration with instructional coaches and support staff is essential to meet IEP/504 accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Translate standards into appropriate middle school math tasks and sequence activities.
• Foster respectful interactions and high student engagement.
• Incorporate Desmos tasks and formatively assess conceptual understanding.
• Use Dreambox data to guide small-group remediation during RtI block.
• Coordinate with aides and staff; participate in staff meetings.
