Job summary

Grand Ridge Grade School is seeking a dedicated Fourth-Grade Long-Term Substitute Teacher to cover an anticipated planned maternity leave. The successful candidate will assume all duties of the regular classroom teacher, including instructional delivery, classroom management, and communication with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Illinois teaching certificate/license
• Substitute teacher credentials
• Experience teaching at the elementary level

• Excellent classroom management and ability to build relationships
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a new school culture
