Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and provide appropriate learning experiences within the assigned area(s)
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity
• Guide learning toward district curriculum goals
• Employ varied instructional techniques and media suited to needs and facilities
• Assess student progress, provide reports, and communicate with parents
• Identify special needs and seek assistance as needed
• Work with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP
