We’re looking for a Dye Line Operator in Dalton, GA. In this role, you will operate dye lines and ensure quality production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify Tank Runs
  • Verify filters are clean and clean as needed
  • Monitor PLCs, computer screens, and set points
  • Adjust dye line speeds
  • Ensure J boxes have enough product for continuous operation
  • Monitor carpet for defects that could affect printing
  • Keep track of dyeing schedule for changeovers
  • Attend necessary job-related training
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Three to six months of related experience or training, or equivalent
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in a dyeing department required
  • Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math
  • Completion of safety training
  • Ability to use PC and database systems

Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Problem-solving skills in standardized situations

Physical Requirements:

  • Reaching, handling, standing, walking, sitting, stooping
  • Kneeling occasionally
  • Lift up to 20 pounds frequently
  • Work shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, day or night, weekdays or weekends
