Job summary

Qcells North America in Cartersville, GA seeks a Wafer Production Technician (DWS Operation) to maintain efficient diamond wire saw operation, perform basic repairs, cleaning, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions on a fast-paced production line.

You will monitor alarms, adjust machine settings, collaborate with engineers and the Shift Supervisor, and uphold strict safety and quality standards across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Ability to work accurately with precision tungsten wire.
• Willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift-based work to ensure continuous machine operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and replace consumables on DWS machines.
• Address machine alarms promptly and escalate when needed.
• Monitor settings and report deviations to supervisors.
• Support troubleshooting with engineers to resolve production issues.
• Log production data and ensure safety and quality compliance.
