Key Responsibilities :

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
• Diagnose and treat illnesses injuries and conditions in animals
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients
• Perform surgeries as needed
• Assist with patient care and procedures in the hospital
• Provide client education and counsel on pet health and wellness
• Participate in community engagement activities and promote the practice

Skills Knowledge and Expertise :

• DVM / VMD degree from an accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team
